Your new companyHays are supporting a public sector organisation to recruit a permanent Cloud Engineer. The role offers flexible working arrangements and the office is based in North Bristol. The salary on offer is between £50,000 - £55,000pa. The team will be happy to look at mid-level engineers wanting to progress in their career and upskill. Your new role& what you'll need to succeedIn the role you'll work in the Agile team to support Azure Cloud Automation processes. You will build and maintain the cloud infrastructure to support CI/CD of IT services across the organisation. You'll promote best practice in terms of DevOps principals and support the organisation in a pivotal role in their IT service modernisation programme. To be considered for the role you'll need good working knowledge of Azure, Automation and DevOps. Experience with on premise / hybrid infrastructure would be beneficial. High level understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation is essential. You'll also need to have experience working in agile environments and have good stakeholder management skills.
